Accessories

Packer arms
For use in combination with a plough press, all Cayros ploughs can be equipped with a hydraulic, length adjustable press arm.
The packer arms are generally fastened directly to the turning element, with the significant advantage that the forces generated pass into the turning element directly from the packer and not via the frame.
In addition, all packer arms are equipped with a spring-loaded safety gear which attenuates the load peaks that occur when the packer is being attached and thus protect the implement and tractor.

Subsoiler points
Using the adage ‘plough shallow and then deep loosen’ the subsoiler points break through the soil layers below the plough depth. The subsoiler points are adjustable in depth and are easily exchanged to keep the running costs as low as possible.

Road lighting
All Cayros ploughs must also be fitted with a road lighting kit for road transport. Either pointing to the left (for transport with plough in working position) or double-sided for use with combined transport/depth wheels, these lighting systems ensure safety whilst driving on roads.

SynCult slurry distributor
The direct incorporation of liquid manure during application offers huge benefits regarding the efficiency of nutrients and avoiding environmental harm. So, combining a liquid manure distributor with the AMAZONE compact disc harrow makes sure that regulations are fulfilled by the immediate incorporation of liquid manure after application.
In combination with Vogelsang, the SynCult liquid manure distributor has been developed. Using a galvanised Adapter frame, the distributor and the pipe routing for the liquid manure system are rigidly mounted above the first disc row of the Catros. Special galvanised flange plates on the disc bracket provide a solid fixing and an ideal positioning of the pipes. The liquid manure is delivered via the front disc row into the cultivated surface left by the discs. With the following second disc row, the organic manure is well mixed
in and covered by the soil. So, the distributor combines superbly with the soil tillage.

Central lubrication
As an additional option, AMAZONE has introduced a central lubrication system for the Catros+ with pro-Pack as well as for the Catros+ 12003-2TS. For the simplification of the lubrication process, a manual central lubrication system is available as an entry-level solution. Here one grease nipple serves as the supply for all greasing points on the machine. Hereby, sub-distributors guarantee supply to the lubrication points. The benefit of this system is that the grease gun has to be used just at the one point on the implement and no climbing on to the implement, which is heavily polluted with slurry and soil, is necessary.
For maximum comfort an electric central lubrication system is available. It provides the automatic supply to all lubrication points on the Catros+ with pro-Pack. In this way the maintenance can be significantly reduced and the reliability further improved. The electric central lubrication unit is the comfortable solution for professional farms needing high work rates and with tight maintenance timeframes because expensive downtime can be saved.

+ In very wet conditions, operation is also possible without a following roller so that only the running gear and the support wheels are utilised for maintaining the depth. In this case, tines mounted behind the tyres on the running gear loosen the wheel tracks.
+ A choice of linkage of the Cenius TX to the tractor is available and, via a flange, a change is always possible.

Maximum comfort
+ As an option, a stepless hydraulic working depth adjustment, including a scale for reading off the depth position, is available enabling the flexible Adaptation to differing soil conditions.
+ The optionally available hydraulic adjustment of the levelling discs offers the ability to alter the setting from the tractor seat ensuring a maximum of comfort and operational safety.
+ The roller carriers make for the simple dismounting and a safe parking of the loose following rollers.

Passive Soil Tillage Amazone Xtender

Xtender

Overview

XTender is a flexibly adjustable hopper system for use in conjunction with passive soil tillage equipment. The XTender rear tank offers the possibility to simultaneously apply fertiliser and/or seed during the soil tillage operation.

Details

Maximum flexibility
In times of increasing prices for fertiliser, efficient base fertilisation becomes ever more important. Targeted fertilisation during soil tillage is a solution which provides the plant with nutrients in the best possible way. Fertilisation during soil tillage can also add logistical advantages when compared to fertilisation during sowing, especially when larger amounts have to be applicated.
So, any downtime of the seed drill can be avoided and the time frames for sowing can be more effectively made use of. Not least because of changing political framework conditions, the establishment of catch crops plays an increasingly important role. Above all though for sowing, solutions are required that can be combined with existing machinery.
With the XTender rear tank system, AMAZONE here offers an efficient solution where the sowing of catch crops, applying a starter fertiliser in catch crops or for adding compensation fertiliser for straw rotting, are combined in just one pass

High outputs
XTender features a 4,200 l pressurised hopper that can be split in a ratio of 50/50. Depending on whether only fertiliser or seed needs to be applied, the XTender, from choice, can be equipped with one or two conveying systems. Application rates from 2 to 400 kg/ha can be achieved
For the hopper, AMAZONE relies on a deep-pressed base hopper. Due to its production via a deep-drawn process, the hopper is created without any corners, edges or weld seams, providing a constant and even flow of the fertiliser and the seed. Low level sensors in the left and right hand tank tips monitor the fill level. The system sends an alarm to the terminal as soon as the minimum fill level is reached.
The hopper is equipped as standard with a ladder and an appropriate loading platform which offers exceptional access. Thanks to the large hopper opening, filling is quick and simple to accomplish.

Accessories

Seed baffle plates in front of the roller
Optimum growing conditions are created by the seed baffle plates. The seed application is carried out evenly and is targeted in front of the roller. In this way the seed is pressed into the soil without, however, being incorporated too deeply.

Optional equipment: toolbox
The large dimensioned toolbox is superbly suited to the safe and clean transport of any accessories, such as the calibration bag, weighing scales etc. Also the driver’s own tools can thus be stowed without any problem.
