A FRONT-MOUNTED HOPPER FOR FERTILISER PLACEMENT IN ONE PASS
FERTI-BOX FB_F is a single-chamber hopper with a capacity of 1,900 litres. The FERTI-BOX FB_F Dual model provides two chambers with a capacity of 2,200 litres, each at the ratio of 40:60. The front hopper is suitable for connection with mounted or trailed machines using the rear three-point hitch of the tractor.

Combination with a subsoiler
The front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F and FB_F Dual can be used for supply fertilisation in combination with machines for deep soil cultivation such as TERRALAND TN or TN_PROFI subsoilers. The double-chamber model can be used for variable placement of two types of fertiliser.
Combination with a strip-till cultivator
The front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F and FB_F Dual can be also used in strip-till systems when fertiliser is placed into the soil profile in combination with STRIP-MASTER EN or TERRASTRIP ZN strip-till cultivators.
Combination with a seed bar
The hopper can also be used for seeds in combination with the CORSA CN, GIRONA GN seed bars. The double-chamber model, FB_F Dual, offers an interesting option of seeding two types of seeds, or seeding together with fertilisation, when fertiliser can be placed in every other row, or mixed with seeds in the distribution pipes.
Combination with an row crop cultivator
To place fertiliser during cultivation, or seeding catch crop in tilled rows, the front FERTI-BOX FB_F hopper can be combined with the ROW-MASTER row crop cultivator.

The basic version of the FERTI-BOX FB_F front hopper is a single-chamber model with a hopper capacity of 1,900 l. For the simultaneous placement of two types of fertiliser or for mixing seed with fertiliser, the FERTI-BOX FB_F Dual with two chambers with a total capacity of 2,200 l is recommended.
PRESSURISED HOPPER DESIGN
Increases accuracy and enables the application of even high doses.
The hopper of the FERTI-BOX FB_F and FB_F Dual machine is pressurised. Overpressure is created in the hopper chamber by the air-tight closure. This technical solution enables the application of large doses with high accuracy, regardless of the size of the seed/fertiliser granules.

The FERTI-BOX FB_F / FB_F Dual mounted hoppers enable connection to the tractor via ISOBUS technology or control via BEDNAR’s own ISOBUS monitor. A range of control monitors is available with basic or advanced control functions. FERTI-BOX FB_F is supplied with BEDNAR EASY CONTROL software, which was developed by BEDNAR engineers.

Front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F hoppers are shaped in a way that ensures safe work. The tractor cabin provides an excellent view of the space in front of the hopper, thanks to the inclination of its top part. The hopper is also equipped with lights for transport and efficient lighting for working at night.

The BEDNAR developers have designed a mobile phone app that makes it simple to calibrate a mounted hopper right from your mobile phone. The mobile app also includes a guide to help you choose the right seed metering roller based on the seed/fertiliser type, working speed and seed rate.

For even greater versatility.
The front-mounted FERTI-BOX FB_F / FB_F Dual hoppers feature a single outlet from the metering unit as part of their basic equipment. In order to use the function of switching off half of the working width of the machine, for example, in connection with the CORSA CN or KATARA KN_S seed bars, two outlets can be used.
CAMERAS AS EYES
Safety is important to us.
For better visibility, we have equipped the FERTI-BOX front hoppers with a system of cameras placed on the right and left side of the hopper. The cameras are positioned under the transport lighting and are the operator’s eyes – they provide an excellent view in front of the front hopper for maximum safety.
