AD-P Special Pack Top Seed Drill

Overview

The AD-P Special 850 pneumatic pack top ,seed drill, with its compact design, in 3.0, 3.5 or 4.0 m working width, has been developed for use on medium sized farms. The seed hopper capacity is 850 l and can be increased with an extension to 1,100 l.
Designed especially for farms which are increasing in acreage and still looking for the advantages of a PTO-driven combination but with a higher output, the AD-P Special 1250 in 3 m, 3.5 m or 4 m working width with its 1,250 l seed hopper offers the right solution. With the aid of an extension the 1,250 litre AD-P Special can be upgraded to 1,500 l.
The AD-P Special can also be mounted on to rotary harrows from other manufacturers, provided these harrows have sufficiently robust troughs to be able to safely carry the large seed hopper of the AD-P Special.

Hydraulic coulter lift for the AD-P Super and Avant
For an initial cultivation without sowing, the coulters can be hydraulically lifted. This enables the quick and flexible adaptation to particular situations such as in areas of poor straw incorporation, in part areas where a preliminary pre-work is necessary. The targeted pre-loosening of the headland or other compacted areas is also possible.

Pre-emergence marker
When creating tramlines, the pre-emergence marker discs automatically lower and leave a mark where the tramline has just been created. In this way tramlines are visible prior to the seed germinating.

Avant Front Tank Seed Drill

Overview

High work rates and first-class sowing performance: With these outstanding features, the folding Avant seed drill combination proves its worth with its ability to operate in practically every farming situation.  In larger working widths of 4, 5 or 6 m, the professional end user can profit form the modular build design. The front linkage of the tractor is made practical use of by the seed hopper; no additional weights are required. So, with the seed hopper mounted on the front and the rotary cultivator, packer roller and sowing coulters on the rear of the tractor, the result is a manoeuvrable combination with an optimum weight distribution that provides high outputs even in small fields. Quick and simple change round from field to field: Just fold up hydraulically, drive on to the next field, unfold and start work!

Details

The benefits – overview
• Good exploitation of the tractor’s mounting points
• Even ballasting of the tractor axles
• Excellent manoeuvrability on the road and in the field
• Quick changeover times between individual fields further increases profitability

For any tractor there is a suitable working width
The rotary cultivators, in 4, 5 and 6 m working widths, fold hydraulically down to a 3 m transport width and are suitable for tractors up to 265 kW (360 HP).
The compact design of the particularly robust folding rotary cultivator allows high output use even in smaller fields.
The main gearbox of the folding rotary cultivator is equipped with a 3-speed lever change for rapid adjustment of the tine speed to different soils and working intensities.

Optimum weight distribution
Within a few minutes the front tank and rear combination are mounted on and off the tractor without tools. The seed tubes are fitted down the side of the tractor with the aid of brackets that remain there, even when the Avant has been dismounted. By means of quick-fit locking devices, the seed tubes from the front tank and the rear combination are easily reconnected. The front tank is coupled on to the front hydraulic linkage and the hydraulic couplings are plugged in to the tractor. The same procedure is carried out at the rear: the rotary cultivator is coupled on to the lower links, the top link connected and the hydraulic hoses plugged in. That just leaves the data cable to be connected to the AMATRON 3 and the sowing operation can start. On the 6 m Avant with electric metering drive switching off half the working width is possible.

Compact on the road
For transport on public roads the rear mounted combination can be hydraulically folded to a transport width of less than 3 m and a transport height of less than 3.70 m.
.
Uncluttered view ahead and to the rear
The front mounted seed hopper has been designed to be wide and low so as not to obstruct the driver’s view. The same applies to the visibility to the rear, where the lack of a seed hopper makes for an uncluttered view of the rear mounted implements.

Accessories

Electronics make for precision!
Via the AMADRILL+in-cab control box or AMATRON 3, CCI 100 and AmaPad operator terminals, but also any other ISOBUS terminals, enable the control of tramline switching and the pre-emergence markers. On the display is shown the operational position of bout markers and tramlining rhythm and, in addition, the area sown and the seed hopper level.

The electric metering drive is controlled via the relevant terminal. Additionally the seed rate can be adjusted in steps of choice from the tractor cab. The AMATRON 3 or other ISOBUS terminals make possible the creation of intermittent tramlines in hilly terrain.

FPS front seed tank with self steering front tyre packer
The front tyre packer gives additional reconsolidation of the area left in between the tractor wheels. With its self-steering packer, driving around bends is simply possible.

FRS front seed tank with front mounted frame
If it is intended to operate the FRS front seed tank without tyre packer, it is mounted in the front hydraulic . If necessary the front tank can be ballasted with additional weights.

Condor Trailed Seed Drill

Overview

The Condor trailed seed drill utilises individually-guided ConTeC pro sowing coulters, in row widths of either 25 cm or 31.3 cm/33.3 cm, making it particularly suitable for use in extensive farming methods as found in continental dry regions. In working widths of 12 and 15 m, and with its 8,000 litre, 3 section pressurised seed tank, the Condor offers enormous working efficiency.

Details

The concept – for extensive arable farming systems
The AMAZONE Condor is the ideal machine for operation in arable farming systems where there has been a minimum of prior soil tillage and in direct sowing. Especially in large arable areas, where time and soil moisture are the limiting factors, the Condor stands for high work rates, precision and water conservation. The low pulling power requirement in relation to its working width just helps significantly in reducing the financial costs in these most extensive arable farming systems.
The machine concept of the Condor has been developed to meet the demand for further reductions in sowing intensity in the wider working widths of more than 9 m, with a wide row spacing and minimally invasive seed placement. The seed drill is offered in working widths of 12 and 15 m. With the exceptional folding concept, it is also possible for the Condor, from its working width of 15 m, to fold in to a remarkable transport width of only 3 m.

Accessories

Condor with on-board hydraulics for Kirovez tractors
Now the Condor can not only be operated with modern tractors but also with tractors from Kivorez!
For many decades on farms in the CIS states the “Yellow Giants” are the standard tractors for multiple operations on the farm and in the field. Now AMAZONE offers the possibility to operate ultra-modern sowing technology with the available powerful and robust tractors. Trials habe shown an actual fuel consumption with a K700A in operation with a 12 m Condorn of 4 l/h, this is just 1 l/ha more than with a modern imported tractor. So the financial pressure to have to purchase a new tractor for the new sowing technology is done away with. In addition, the combination of this Russian tractor with the Condor operates high efficiently in the field during the sowing operation.

On-board hydraulics
One high-capacity clip-on pump is driven via the gearbox output of the tractor and provides the necessary hydraulic pressure for a tractor independent circuit on the seed drill.
The control valves for the regulation of the coulter pressure and for raising the main frame on the headland are operated from the driver’s seat. These are the mostly used functions and are combined with the tractor own circuit.
In most cases, the control valve for folding the wings is only used when starting and finishing work. Therefore this is implemented, in the same way as the on/off control of the blower fan via a separate control block on the seed drill.
As only two hydraulic sections are directly connected to the tractor’s circuit, the danger of pollution due to dirty hydraulic oil is clearly reduced.

Long life components
The high-capacity oil cooler prevents any overheating of the oil circuit. At the same time the blower fan of the seed drill sucks air for the delivery route through the fins on the cooler. The heated air effectively prevents the sticking of seed and fertiliser at high application rates. This is of great advantage in moist weather and high air humidity.

Wheel mark eradicators
For operation on loose or poorly reconsolidated soils, wheel mark eradicators are available as option. The wheel marks are loosened and levelled. By hydraulic actuation, the lowering and lifting is carried out automatically on the headland or when folding for transport.
